Passport Seva Kendra Aluva

Visited on 20 Nov 2025 for my passport renewal. My appointment was at 3:00 PM and I reached by 2:45 PM. The process was smooth and fast. Documents required for passport renewal: 1. Printout of the online application receipt 2. Existing passport (original) with photocopy 3. Aadhaar card (original) with photocopy - must show permanent address 4. SSLC book / Birth certificate (original) with photocopy for birthplace proof 5. Marriage certificate printout if you need to add your spouse's name It's also helpful to carry a white paper and pen in case you need to write any corrections for address or spelling changes. There is a photocopy booth inside, but it's usually crowded, so better to take all copies from outside. Overall experience was good and efficient. Only downside -- staff (TCS employees) were very serious; a simple smile would make the public service experience much better. Important: Reach on time and keep all required documents ready -- this makes the entire process much smoother.

Visited PSK Aluva on 29 January 2026 for a fresh passport under the Normal category. Overall experience was smooth, well organised, and hassle-free. My reporting time was 12:45 PM and the appointment slot was from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM. Lunch break is from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, but there was no delay during my visit. The entire process was completed in around 30 minutes to 1 hour. Documents to carry: printed passport application form (only the first page is sufficient), SSLC certificate (original and one copy), Aadhaar card (original and one copy). Black and white printouts are accepted; colour print is not mandatory. Birth certificate may be asked, so it is better to carry it if available. Important points: before entering PSK, make sure all documents and copies are ready to avoid delays. Inside PSK, there is a photocopy or photostat room. Only original documents and physical paper copies are accepted inside PSK. PDFs or documents shown on mobile phones are not accepted. If you applied online, take printouts before entering PSK. There are two photocopy and printing shops opposite PSK Aluva for last-minute printing. Process inside PSK for Normal category: after initial document verification, you will be asked to collect and fill the surname form and post office form from the photocopy room. Section A includes personal details verification, passport photograph, fingerprints, and signature. Section B includes verification of original documents such as SSLC and Aadhaar with the application. Staff provided clear instructions at every stage, and the overall process was simple, fast, and efficient.

Great Ambience, Top class office set up with people / display to guide through. We reached before time, at 9:11 AM and were through by 9:40 AM. It was a great experience, police verification was over in 2 days time and we received the passport in just a week's time, in normal category. Full Marks to Ministry of External Affairs and involved agencies / staff for the smooth process. Keep it up.

I have an appointment on 11/02/2026 at 12.30 report time.Then, security tells, who has time slot entered accordingly their schedule! Also, have a pair copy of ID's and other documents(check every docs are correct and there is no mistake between them).The process was smooth. I entered at 12.30pm and completed in 1.20pm.No worries at all!

3/10/2025 Female officer seated at counter A10. She lacks kindness or empathy to even guide us through the further proceedings with patience, especially since Iwent with 2 young children (6 and 3) and Iam a single mother. I asked her name for feedback but she would not reveal it. Her ID card was hidden by her uniform. A pleasant face, patience and kindness cost absolutely nothing. It would be so much easier for people like us if all the documents and corrections were told at section A itself... rather than reaching C and being sent back and forth for each correction.

I did my online application for my already existed passport renewal and My appointment was at 2:30 PM, with a reporting time of 2:15. I reached by 1:00 PM since I was worried of block on the way. Staff usually take a lunch break between 1:00 and 1:30 If you're planning to visit, I'd recommend taking an Uber or auto since parking around the area can be a bit tricky. They let me in by 1:50 PM. There's a photocopy shop inside the building itself (2 per copy), which is convenient if you forget to bring any copies of the documents. By 2:20 PM, the entire process was done as all my documents were with me -- super smooth and efficient. They took the photos and biometrics.They only asked for my Aadhaar card, one photocopy of it, and the three pages of my old passport. Overall, very organized experience.

Excellent service. Got my passport renewed here. Got the appointment on 30/12/25 2-15 PM and the new passport delivered to me on the very next day by 11-00 AM. Surprised at the efficiency.
