Yadgiri Post Office

Had the misfortune of sending some items by parcel from Kerala when my sister moved to Yadgir for work. They called me to the post office despite informing them we are new to the place and don't really know where the office is. Fine. That was manageable. Can't really blame them because you can't expect boxes to be transported on two wheelers. What really frustrated me was that once there, nobody helped carry the three boxes weighing nearly 25kgs to the auto that was parked maybe 20 feet away from their door. It had to be parked that far in the first place because the driveway was blocked by two wheelers (belonging to the employees,I presume). I understand that being government employees they don't need to care about mundane stuff like customer service but nobody gave a damn except for the postwoman who had the decency to thank me for accomodating their request to come collect the items guaranteed to be delivered at home. Incredible, really. No wonder our postal service gets the reputation it does. Won't ever be recommending their service again.

Useless officers in Yadagir district in karnataka post office , all the employes have NO responciblity , and they dont respect the customer who comes for opening IPPB acount or any services, all officers says it is not my job go to anather table. Customer should rome around, later they will say go to head branch, there also the same story conteneued. Waste of indian govt tax payer mony to these employees.better to send all the employees on valantary Retirment, or make it privatisation for better performence Vaijanath patil Yadagir

Head post office yadgir. It is in the ambedkar nagar. Here all kinds of post related activities are done like speed post, PLI, etc. If some one wants to send their shipment fast. It would be good to come directly and do it from here. Because other post office branches will send it here.
