Post Office Passport Seva Kendra

The entire process took 2-3 hours, and it was handled by just 3 staff members. One major issue was the infrastructure - the Passport Authority should consider upgrading it. Here's a suggestion: add an initial counter to verify documents and ensure applicants have everything needed. This would streamline the process, allowing those with complete documents to move forward for verification or be sent back home promptly. For instance, if this counter was in place, I would've finished the process within the first 30 minutes instead of waiting for hours. As it stands, applicants wait for their token number and appointment sequence, only to have their documents verified later. A frustrating experience, especially since I had prepared documents based on the online portal's checklist, only to find the staff had a different list altogether.

I have already paid an amount of 1500 for the passport renewal and while parking the car outside the office in their government premises they are asking me a parking fees of 50 rupees I want to know how far this type of rules are valid and is it only for us or the public who work in government have free access as I saw few political people coming laughing and for them they provided free parking just because they knew someone from government office

I'm not sure about the passport service here--lots of negative reviews. But I visited to consult on the name differences across my documents, and the madam (maybe the in-charge) guided me very nicely.

The whole system is really slow..Even when u have taken appointment it hardly matters, all matters here is first come first serve. People are welcomed with plus one or plus two.. that means one can be ur company for the whole process and then u won't feel bored, Passport seva kendra can be like this is a surprise. No proper guidance. So if u will be thinking belgaum has its own passport kendra and u will be getting all work done on time, better to take appointment at Hubali center and get it done, at least u will get it done on time... Rest all ones call take individual call.

I would rate the center operations on minus scale if possible. No time sense. Waited for 2 and half hour with my small baby and got to know that I can't proceed further due to certain documentation concerns. 1 star rate is for blessing in disguise, or else I would have sat there for 2 to 3 more hours to complete the entire process. The operations are not managed properly. There needs to be one more counter at the beginning to ensure availability of documents needed as per the application. Only those who have every document can be sent further for verification or back home. If that was in place then I would have left the pemises in first 30 mins itself instead of waiting for hours. Here we just have to wait for so long to be called according to the appointment sequence and you will get the token number after documents verification. Utter waste of time. Very bad experience. Also, i had carried documents as per online information on the portal, but it seemed that the staff had their own list.

An exceptionally slow and rude staff causing massive delays and then behaving rudely. It took the handler more than 1.5 hours just to give us the token number and even then, gave anybody without timing the first number based on no rhyme and reason. Once asked for tokens, the guy started shouting and then shouted at another female applicant who was there for more than 2 hours.

Staff here is very rude & shouts at the visitors, they make them wait for hours just for the generation of token number despite getting all the documents verified. No professionalism & nothing is streamlined. While waiting there for more than an hour witnessed multiple episodes of the staff behaving rudely with the visitors.

I must say thanks to entire Post office team at Belgaum Head Post . I'm new to town and due to google map I been late for Aadhaar card enquiry but they provided me all complete correct information . Head of the department person been so polite and humble with me . Thank You Head Post office team .
