Pulwama Post Office

I have send speedpost but it's 9th day and the parcel hasn't delivered.it was an emergency and the postman had said that it will be delivered within 4or5 days. Sending something from this postoffice is waste of time and money

Lahoo is a village in South Kashmir's Pulwama district of Kashmir valley. Ladhoo is located 18 km away from the center of Srinagar and 4 km from NH44 via Lethpora above the bank of river Jhelum. It is one of the largest villages of Constituency Tehsil Pampore, covering an area of 9 sq. km. This village is known to host various religious sufi saints , notably including Nund Rishi Or Sheikh-Noor-din-wali r.a (who spent almost ten years of his life in Ladhoo), and Jeevan Sahab. Cash on delivery not available in this post office. Packing facilities not available. Sometimes takes 4 days to carry parcel from pulwama to Srinagar.

Overall it has good service but need more faculity in villages ,it is highly requested to the post office department that they have to think about it as soon as posssible then people will not suffer in future .

The post man for pinglena takes weeks to deliver a parcel. Often he hands over mail and parcel to auto drivers for delivery .

Post office is very much accessible on main road going towards shopian.

Very high charges for grading but grading not acceptable as extra grades are prepared there by reducing over all rate per kg
