1. No parking available. 2. They call you at given time and then standup and leave the counter and keep you waiting. Even after knowing that appointment was for 1.5 year old kid. They don't care. There tea and coffee is important than every kid and other people waiting. They don't hv substitute and all left at once. 3. In document list, They mentioned either of the parent pasport is ok but at counter they said both parents pasport is required. So they again gave a new date and long waiting time

Very good experience, very fast the whole process happened under 30mins. They should have dedicated parking for this or atleast boards and signage for nearest parking. Guy at counter token2, A8, C3 are super nice. Mea1 guy was blahh but okay.

Come at the scheduled time to avoid waiting - not late not much early. They have lunch time around 1 pm so avoid that time if you can, else will have to wait. It will take time especially for tatkaal, 2 hours is minimum so, plan accordingly. Preferable to commute by auto/cab as there's no parking space. Inside it gets crowded as the area is small and too many people. Staff can be helpful but one has to be patient with them. Sometimes it feels like unnecessary obstacles because of their opinion and stereotypes but just carry on.

I'd like to share my recent experience visiting this office on 29th September 2025. Firstly, there is no parking facility available. I strongly advise others to take a cab when visiting this location. Traffic marshals are stationed outside, and from my experience, they either ask for bribes or attempt to intimidate you. When I entered the office, a lady began reviewing my documents for renewal. However, instead of focusing on the process, she started discussing my case with a colleague, saying: "Ki kya karna chahiye iska? Iske documents par remarks dal ke bhej dein ya process kar dein?" This is completely unprofessional. Firstly, I was sitting right in front of them. Secondly, why is there even a question about processing my documents if I have submitted everything required? Why create unnecessary delays that force customers to revisit the office multiple times--especially in my case, where I have a newborn at home and cannot afford repeated visits? Somehow, my file was passed on to Counter B, where the person handling it put my documents on hold without any discussion or explanation. He then scheduled my next appointment for 8th October 2025. When I asked why, he simply said: "Agli baar marriage certificate le kar aana." Now, this is where the real issue lies. It's not just about having to come again (which is frustrating enough), but about the lack of communication and transparency. The officer gave me a new date without even confirming my availability. On top of that, I'm now struggling to reschedule online due to technical issues on the website, which is not accepting new appointment requests. To make matters worse, nowhere on the website or in the official document checklist is a marriage certificate mentioned as a mandatory document for this process. It is not listed on Google, on the website, or in any official communication. Suddenly, it's treated as essential. If it's mandatory, the office should clearly inform applicants in advance so they can come prepared. Please go fully prepared if you plan to visit this office. The staff is not cooperative, and they behave like they're playing a game of "office-office." The system lacks transparency and customer sensitivity, and unfortunately, it's the public that ends up suffering due to this inefficiency.

Very disappointing experience at Passport Seva Kendra. Visited on 9/02/2026 before 3 PM. The staff member at Counter A12 was extremely rude, dismissive, and spoke with unnecessary arrogance. Basic respect and professionalism were completely missing. Another staff member at MEA Counter 1 (wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans) also behaved unprofessionally and lacked proper communication etiquette. This is a public service office, and applicants deserve respectful treatment. Such behavior creates stress and reflects poorly on the system. Authorities should seriously look into staff conduct and provide proper training.

I must say I had great experience just got free in 40 minutes and everyone was so polite. They understand your times value and guide you. Just one modification is requires is of photocopy facility. Otherwise I am delighted to share my good experience. Regards Mukesh

I had a very unpleasant experience at the Passport Seva Kendra, Gurgaon. The staff members were extremely loud, arrogant, and unprofessional. They showed no basic courtesy towards applicants, irrespective of age or gender, and spoke in a disrespectful, shouting manner--as if people had come to ask for personal favors rather than a legitimate government service. The government system itself is not the issue; the real problem lies with the personnel--whether directly hired or outsourced--who lack basic civic sense and customer-handling skills. There is an urgent need for proper behavioral training and strict monitoring to ensure discipline and respectful conduct at such public offices.

Very cooperative staff. My experience from entry to exit was seamless. Negatives: Only one problem is that the guard didn't let me enter 15 minutes before even that is mentioned in the passport application and he let enter some other people whose timings are after 3-4 hours later i don't know what's in his head. Required Docs: Keeep your self attested 10th Marksheet, Aadhar Card, Pan Card along with the Originals. Keep all photocopies in A4 size (as I take the big size copy of 10th marksheet like original and had to do the a4 size photocopy inside passport office worth rs. 10 per copy)
