Efficient and Well-Organized Experience I recently visited the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) in Vadodara and was pleasantly surprised by how streamlined the entire process was. What to Expect: Organized Workflow: The system is very well-managed. Applicants are called based on their tokens and directed to specific tables. This keeps the crowds moving and minimizes confusion. Cooperative Staff: Overall, it was a good experience with the personnel. The staff members were cooperative and professional, which helped lower the stress of the application process. Facilities: There is ample and comfortable seating provided inside while you wait for your turn. Pro-Tips for Applicants: Perfect Documentation: This is the most important part! Ensure all your original documents and photocopies are exactly as per the requirements before you arrive. It saves a lot of time. Xerox Facility: In case you forget a copy, there is a Xerox machine available right inside the facility. It is very convenient, though do note that the charges are slightly higher than standard market rates. Overall Verdict: A productive and efficient government facility. If you have your paperwork in order, the visit will be smooth and hassle-free!

As cameras are not allowed I have taken pic of the selfie point there , it's a great service , very fast and organised . I have gone here before and as compared to before it's more organised and takes less time now .

Details: Application submitted at: PSK Vadodara Date of appointment: 27 January 2026 Regional Passport Office: Ahmedabad Service opted: Tatkal As per the Tatkal timeline, the passport should be printed and dispatched within 1-2 working days. However, till date: Passport has not been received Online status does not show passport dispatch Current status shows: "Police report has been submitted by XXX Police Station, XXXX and sent to SP Office" The application is being processed like a normal passport, not Tatkal This completely defeats the purpose of opting for Tatkal service. If the police report is already submitted, there is no justification for such delay. Paying a higher Tatkal fee but getting normal or slower processing is unacceptable. This experience gives the impression of "Pay more and get low priority service." Very disappointing experience with lack of transparency and accountability.

Vadodara passport office must have staff who has etiquettes how to behave. Their behavioral is unacceptable and so rude. As a citizen, I believe government offices are meant to be their to help citizen and to support and assist them. Instead of help, they talked in such a rude way and rather supporting senior citizen their behavior are just unacceptable. Providing worst services, rude behavior, dismissive and disrespectful manner which is completely unacceptable from a government official entrusted. Such conduct not only causes inconvenience to citizens but also tarnishes the reputation of your department. Strict action should to be taken for staff and employees before it tarnish government name and reputation.

I had a very unpleasant experience at the Vadodara Passport Office. The staff was uncooperative and not at all helpful in guiding visitors. Despite having all my documents in order and an appointment on time, I was made to wait unnecessarily without clear communication. The management seems disorganized, and there's no proper system to handle applicants efficiently. It's disappointing to see such poor service for such an important government process. The authorities really need to improve their coordination, attitude, and overall management.all working people have bad attitude and they all are very disgusted behaviour.

This is such a wonderful office. They are providing service very fast and most of the staff are extremely friendly. Once you are in there is 4 stage process. First doc checking then A, B and C counters. Everything happens quickly no waiting time. Go with your documents well prepared. All government offices should be like this. Office is clean and well maintained. Only thing which I felt that space is less at the reception and doc checking room. Xerox facilities also available on paid basis. There is one person who will quickly guide you once you are in. I have got my passport in just 4 working days, just incredible service.

Bilkul bakwas, staff has no proper knowledge. They are very non cooperative , in human & harrase the childrens. Specific counter no 'A' lady has no proper knowlege & they thrown my grand childrens from one window to another window & force us to reschedule passport appointment.

Absolutely ridiculous office staff! Useless passport office. Had a very very very unpleasant experience. Had to wait for almost 2 hours to get through this ridiculous place. Staff members have no sense of empathy. I request the higher authorities to work on this useless office and increase more staff and get a new passport office!
