Mapusa Post Office

"Extremely disappointing experience at this post office. The wait times are ridiculously long, and when you need to speak to a manager, forget about it. They're nowhere to be found. It's like they're invisible. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend wasting your time here unless absolutely necessary."

They don't hear your opinion when I said I want to send an envelope through speed post they declined saying it needs to be insured post charging Rs.1500 when I sended the same envelope before for Rs.41 I told them that I don't need insured post and only needed speed post but they said bring 1500 to post it . Should the choice be not mine whether i send it through insured or speed post.

There is a wait as old officials are transferred & new take time but its the Best budgetable mode for parcels & letters as you can send to every corner in India & many more places abroad. Today is monday there's a crowd vut only one counter working in a snail speed very disappointing.

Do not use the post office parcel pick up service. Firstly the collection person does not come even after saying they will. The 3 men driving the van could not locate my house for over half an hour, just driving around aimlessly not following very simple directions. They collected two parcels from me, I asked for the international one to be shipped regular and the domestic one to be shipped speed post as it needed to be somewhere by a certain day, which I was told it would (it did not) they shipped the international one by speed post which costs 5x the price and they lost the domestic one. It's been 4 days and the parcel is not delivered nor can they provide me with a receipt that it was shipped. Turns out in the end they taped together two separate parcels, one for Mumbai and one for England and sent both parcels to England. Never ever use them. I was asked to make a positive review video of India posts new collection service BEFORE I had even shipped a parcel with them. I told him I will not make a review until my parcels reach properly. They failed to do that, so here is my review. Only India Post can take a parcel addressed to Mumbai, and send it to LONDON, UK.

Stupidest branch of post , first they take mu parcel check all the details, including address and payment . No update after that for months and after 4/5 months i get sms saying my address is incorrect. How an direct address to a landmark can be incorrect . So horribly wrong they . As my parcel didn't reach on time.

Absolutely bad service , we have been literally waiting here for 90 minutes and then later on they are telling us to leave from there . No proper customer service at all

Rules and services has made the post experience pathetic. Please dont open an account SB in post office. They have made any transaction so complicated that one has to visit again and again or catch an agent. Its really disappointment form Mapusa post. My other post accounts of diffrent cities give really good service.

No system in place. Out of 6+1 counter intially just 3 had staff and now 4 (each are looking after seperate requests). 1 token has been looked at for minimum 45 to 80 mins. The agents with their bundle of request have been looked after by the same staff. Senior Citizens have been waiting for hours together in the queues. Poor system
