Margao Post Office

The post office needs a complete makeover, being government backed this infrastructure should be a leading example. The fans are not working where the customers sit, tge walls have gone damp, wall fans are rusted and dusted and not working too. Sorry to say its really embarrassing even from a point of view getting someone in here from out of goa... High time something is done about it

Extremely rude women staff at the counter of Margao Post Office, Goa , India, 403601. While customers are waiting to send parcels, all employees at the post office have gone on lunch break and refuse to serve and help people. Government of Goa staff at the Post Office, Margao, 403601, need to undertake training in customer care and be more helpful to the public who wait in line for hours.

I had a very disappointing experience with Margao Post Office. On 3rd September, I sent a parcel through Speed Post to North Goa. I was told it would be delivered the next day (4th September). However, the parcel was only delivered on 9th September. In between, there was a holiday (5th), but even after that, delivery kept getting delayed through Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I had to personally go and check multiple times, which defeated the purpose of using "Speed" Post. It ended up being slower than normal post. Again, when I visited the post office today to courier another parcel, the staff mentioned that their site was not working which I understand can happen. But when I asked what to do, the response I got was that I should come at 8 PM when they are closing. That didn't make any sense, as customers cannot be expected to come after hours just to get service. Overall, very poor service experience. The delivery timelines are unreliable, the communication is unhelpful, and the staff attitude adds to the frustration. Now I understand why this post office has so many bad reviews.

Always Crowded- 1: Server Down 2: System slow 3: Staff Not competent, its a high time that government should improve the infrastructure or people should stop investing in Post.

Please have a different building for post office and post bank. Infact mini post banks should be opened in Borda and Aquem.More bank services than postal.

Huge lines that eventually lead to huge tempers. If you happen to know someone here, then your work shall be completed somewhat peacefully else it's a regular hassle. Not all staff are rude but they are quite lethargic and unhelpful. Would recommend to come early so as to avoid the long queues.

Please do share valid contact numbers..you are here to serve your best services to public,not to waste their time. Have you (the employees of post office ever tried calling on your own office contact number??) I am trying since 3 days.
