ATo, Passport Seva Kendra Siliguri, Himachal Vihar, Matigara Subject: Complaint regarding difficulties faced during passport appointment Respected Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my disappointment with the services at the Passport Seva Kendra in Himachal Vihar, Matigara. During my recent visit for a passport appointment, I encountered several issues that I would like to bring to your attention. *Issues Faced:* - *Rude Security Guard*: The security guard on the first floor was extremely rude, which made the experience unpleasant. - *Lack of Sitting Space*: There was no designated seating area for family members accompanying passport applicants, causing inconvenience. - *Poor Sanitation Facilities*: The absence of dustbins and public toilets within the premises was noticeable. When I inquired about the washroom, I was directed to the nearby City Center, which seems impractical. - *Area Maintenance*: The surrounding area of the Kendra appears to be littered with waste, which doesn't reflect well on the maintenance. *Suggestions for Improvement:* - Provide training to security personnel to enhance their interaction with applicants and their families. - Arrange for adequate seating for those accompanying passport applicants. - Ensure proper sanitation facilities, including dustbins and toilets, within the premises. - Regularly clean and maintain the surrounding area to project a more organized image. I hope you will consider my suggestions and take necessary actions to improve the overall experience for applicants.

Poor communication with Candidates they don't explain things properly and people like us from other states need to suffer I went several times and wasted 6k and more in this office because of their lack of communication and the staff and the officer seemed racist because there is nowhere written that a person like me from another state can't apply in Siliguri and if I did my address will be changed to local address how is that even possible and what's the point of making a passport here if my address will be of Siliguri and not of my document's address i.e Sikkim won't I face problems in future if I wish to work abroad. If it's like that you should explain it to the candidates from other state at first only why call them again asking for local address proof and all . Pooor serviceeeeeee!!!!!!!

The staff members are extremely unprofessional and behave rudely with applicants. Basic courtesy and patience are completely missing. The passport officer, instead of listening to genuine concerns, was dismissive and unwilling to hear anything at all. Applicants are treated as if they are at fault, even when all documents are in order.

I had one of worst experiences of my life when I had gone for passport services. The passport officer at the third counter was extremely rude to me and was not helping at all. He had already rejected my application twice without giving any proper explanation on what extra documents I need to provide both the times. He asks for different documents everytime I go for an appointment and doesn't give all information at once. Please avoid this place in case you want a smooth process.

Worst service. They rejected my daughter's application without any valid reason for 3 times. My time money and energy wasted. They are cery unprofessional and the front office executive ( lady) shows her own personal grudges. The passport officer misbehaves and asks for documentation according to his mood. Doesn't want to listen at all. I am never gonna visit this place again. This is utter nonsense. They act as if I went there to beg. Very unethical and rude. I pity on people of such mindset who runs such a big office.

Application is put on hold by Counter-B without any proper reason. Govt of india should take necessary action against this uneducated employees

GOOD SERVICE AND STUFFS ARE WORKING FAST WHICH ARE VERY EASY,HELPFULL.BUT ONE THING IS OUTSIDE IS NOT CLEAN.
