Lingampalli SO Post-Office

The Google Maps location is slightly incorrect. Instead of turning into the street shown on the map, you need to go a little ahead of the school, and you will find the building just beside the school. It would be helpful if the location on Google Maps could be corrected for easier navigation. The staff is helpful and courteous. Most of the information about available RD, FD schemes and their rates of interest is clearly displayed on the notice board, which makes it easy for visitors to understand the services offered. My personal experience with the staff was very good. In today's fast digital world, I still wish we continue the tradition of writing letters like in the old days--keeping alive the warmth, affection, and memories they carry, irrespective of the technology we now have in hand. "In the olden days, letters carried a warmth and care that we rarely experience today."

I visited to speed post some documents. I visited on a week day afternoon time. The post office is small and there is only counter for processing the posts. Luckily at the time I visited no one was there, later 2 more people came. There is no proper space for queue also so I wonder what would happen if this place gets crowded. Their board is barely visible from road but it is there at the same location Google points, in a building complex.

Or first visit was smooth. They were helpful. We went for booking the parcel with our daughter, they greeted her with candies. The parcel booking was smooth and the charges are competitive.

Lingampally Postman will mark the speed post articles as delivered without actually delivering or taking a signature from the customer. They don't have any contact numbers shared to contact the post office.

It's been few days since received sms intimation for passport dispatch. Lingampally SO still not delivered it although address is correct, police verification done on same address.. No one picks up the call when tried calling at this post office number so many times.

Booked a parcel. It was quite hassle free and the staff was also supportive.

Items of my speed post were stolen and the parcel received by the receiver did not have the items that were sent. After stealing the items the person had neatly concealed the parcel as if it wasn't tampered. I have been using other PO's until now and this never happened in the past.

Poorly mange's office both from infrastructure & management standpoint. The headmaster is super busy always & give instructions in pieces. Communication is one of the biggest challenges in the office. We regret the decision to visit the PO twice in last 10 days. Few more visit scheduled since they made us go into circles of paper work of amount transfer.
