The world's highest post office visit with friends in -16 was thrilling experience. The letter to be sent from Hikkim to friends and family felt too good. Mail from here is typically carried on foot by postal runners to Kaza, and then enters the regular postal network.

We visited the Post Office almost close to closing time but they made sure we got the time to actually send the post cards. The staff was helpful and made sure we were informed that the letter or post card might not be delivered, but guess what! A few weeks later the post office actually did deliver the same! I cannot feel more excited about the same! So if you are into that sort of old school memorabilia, please do visit!
