If you want to experience behaviour in govt offices, then this is the place. Govt office like behaviour in a private shop. Called this owner previous day for Aadhar card update, explained him it's for very old lady who can't walk, next day went there with all the possible documents I had for the old lady. He was like have you come for consulting or actual work? I said, we spoke yesterday and now I have come with all the documents so check if you can update the Aadhar without old lady's presence, so it's actual work only, his argument was since I said, "check if it can be done", it means consulting. I didn't want to waste time over useless stuff so I said, ok fine, if it's consulting then so be it. I explained it's for very old lady who can't walk, then he said, no, that's not possible, she has to be in person and he asked to visit after 3 days. There was another customer who was watching this, he understood my problem, once I stepped out, he came after me, gave me a contact of Aadhar official who visits home especially for immobile, aged citizens. Called that number, he came home and got my work done. In fact that govt official was so humble and polite but this private shop was showing attitude. Meanwhile funny thing is, this guy spoke to me in 3 languages, Hindi, Konkani and English. Looked absolutely confused.
