Arambol Post Office

The employees are unpleasant and not very polite; one of them just sits around and does nothing. Allow plenty of time because it's very slow... Also, it's the only post office I've encountered in India that wants to see everything in the package, so if you've already packed it well, they'll speak rudely to you like you are a criminal and think you're a liar because, according to them, that's how it's done everywhere (which is false). Keep in mind that in India you have to provide a photocopy of your passport (well, here it's two; they definitely don't do things like other places...). So, knowing they have my identity, I don't see why I would risk putting prohibited items in my package. Then you do everything yourself: weigh the package, stick on the labels--it's truly the worst place... and the prices aren't the same as on the Post India website.

I was worried about coming here for all the negative reviews but staff in the packing place next door were incredibly helpful in helping me send a parcel to the UK. So it was simple when I went to the post office. Only problem was there's a new rule that you can't send empty bottles!? So I had to go and get it all repacked. I came at midday and packing team could serve me immediately. Don't forget to bring your passport!!! You cannot send liquids. Post office guys were fairly short and disinterested but did help me actually do what I needed to do. I hope parcel sends ok.

Staff is nice and helpful. I received a parcel totally open from international, but this is not the responsibility of the staff, it comes from international shipment and control check. Change your phone number : it is not the right one on google map.

This post office is the worst ever. Extremely rude behaviour. The company should review their staff. Also multiple times items were removed from my parcels. AVOID THEM COMPLETELY. Better go to Mapsa for your parcels.

I had a nice experince here. PO staff did manage things very well, I was informed about all the available shipping options gracefully. Went smooth!

They gave me change in fake money

They didn't write down the cost of things in declaration in my parcel, so now a person cannot get her parcel. Don't recommend to deal with this office
