Post Office Passport Seva Kendra

Very very poor service They give appointment and then keep your docs and say wait outside. Suppose you have appointment at 2.30. They will make you wait until 6pm. Staff behavior also not descent. It's same typical as Govt offices. No seating arrangements nothing.

Not like Guwahati passport save kendra, only one counter is there, and you didn't have to wait that much only 1 or 2 person is there..

Pros : Que is less Cons: No fan, tobacco gutka stain everywhere, the person who does verification is not at all friendly. Unprofessionalism to the extreme height. People keep on waiting for hours, they are never on time nor respect office etiquettes. I have come to verify and knowingly he has sent me three times to take Xerox of documents whereas i had fine printouts of documents which he did not accepted. Giving lame excuses everytime. My appointment was at 10am and he dint come untill 10:30am. Besides, keeping people waiting he is busy attending personal calls and video calls. It's better to drive to other place psk and even go to guwahati but don't come here. Very much biased and not at all professional behaviour. Wont recommend for a female to visit here. I repeat!!

Needs improvement in seating arrangements for applicants and also expected better cleanliness specially washroom present here in the waiting lobby.

Recently visited PSK Goalpara.its a small office unlike any other PSK in metro city where there will a long queue always. It's in the first floor of Goalpara Post Office. The person ( PSK officer) comes at 10 O clock. So even if you have appointment at 9 am , be relaxed and reach there by 10 am. Crowd is less so no worries. There is only one officer for document collection and verification. If all documents are correct , within 30 mins to 1 hour , your application will be accepted. If not the officer will instruct you what to do next.

Although my work is done... But it's true all government place in India are cluttered and the staff are not so supportive

This ia a good effort by govt. Of India to provide passport service nearest to the public of all districts by giving service in Post offices.

Sir please improve postoffice passport system.i applied passport 16 september19 with anaxture A.but till not recive my passport.so I request plz improve.
